Link owners and residents to a stand ​

When you need this ​

After the stands are in, so the estate knows who owns each stand and who lives on it: the owner, a tenant, a spouse, a gardener. The WhatsApp assistant only answers residents about the stands they are linked to.

A stand uploaded with a BUYER already has its owner. Add everyone else here.

Steps ​

  1. Open Stands in the menu and press the stand's row. (Or open Premises, then the premise.)
  2. Open the Residents tab and press Add Resident. The Add Resident panel opens.
  3. Relationship: Owner is already picked. Change it if this person is a Tenant, Spouse, Cabin Master, House Keeper, Gardener, Security, Emergency contact or Other.
  4. Under Search Contact, type at least two letters of their name or phone number.
    • They are in the list (for example, they own another stand): press their name.
    • No contact found.: press Create new contact, then fill in:
      • Type: Individual or Company.
      • For a person, First Name (needed), and Middle Name, Last Name, Gender and ID Number if you have them. For a company, Company Name (needed) and Registration Number.
      • Phone Numbers (needed) and Email Addresses.
  5. Start date: the day they became owner or moved in. It is today unless you change it; backdate it if they joined earlier.
  6. Press Save.

Add someone who isn't on a stand yet ​

  1. Open Residents in the menu and press New Resident.
  2. Fill in their details, and press Save Changes.
  3. Link them to their stand later with Add Resident (above), searching for their name.

What you should see ​

  • Successfully added, and the person on the stand's Residents tab with their relationship and start date.
  • For an owner, their name with a star on the stand's page, in place of No owner.
  • The person under Residents in the menu. Open them, then their Premises tab, to see where they are linked.

If something goes wrong ​

  • Save stays greyed out: pick a Relationship, then either pick a contact or fill in every needed field of the new one, including a phone number.
  • The same person shows twice in the search: they were added twice. Pick the one already linked to other stands.
  • "Contact saved but failed to add relationship": the person was added, but not linked. Press Add Resident again and pick them from the search.
  • The stand was sold: don't add the new owner beside the old one. Press Transfer on the stand's page instead, so the old owner's dates are kept in the history.
