Clusters
When you need this
A cluster is a group of premises, for example Phase 2, Flats or Commercial stands. Make one when a levy applies to some premises only: in a levy structure or a bill run, that levy is then billed only to the premises in its clusters.
If every premise pays the same levies, you don't need clusters.
Steps
Make a cluster
- Open Setup in the menu, then Clusters.
- Press New Cluster. The Create Cluster box opens.
- Name: for example Phase 2. Description is optional.
- Type: leave it on General.
- Press Submit.
Put premises in it
- In Clusters, press the cluster's row.
- Press Add Premise. The Add Premise to Cluster box opens.
- Under Premise, type the premise's number and pick it.
- Joined At: the day it joined the cluster.
- Press Add. Do the same for each premise.
What you should see
- Successfully saved after Submit, and the cluster in the Clusters list.
- Each premise you added in the cluster's list of members.
- In a levy structure or a bill run, the cluster offered under + Group on each levy line.
If something goes wrong
- Submit stays greyed out: give the cluster a Name.
- "Please select a customer to add to this group": pick a premise from the list before pressing Add.
- A premise is in the wrong cluster: open the cluster, press Remove beside the premise, and add it to the right cluster before the next bill.
- Clusters isn't on the Setup page: your role can't see clusters. Ask the estate's owner.
